LEAN SIX SIGMA GREEN BELT

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a five day instructor-led highly interactive class covering how well processes deliver the products or services customers need (Six Sigma) and how efficiently those processes do so (Lean). Participants will be able to articulate the difference between the effectiveness of Six Sigma and the efficiencies of Lean and how to use the two toolkits seamlessly for the benefits of the business or organization.

Each module will include hands-on application based learning. Participants will be confident practitioners of the full Six Sigma DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) Green Belt toolkit based on the Six Sigma Book of Knowledge, as well as, the basic principles of Lean methodology and the tools of Lean.  Combining effectiveness and efficiency results in a disciplined method and problem-solving framework that helps reduce defects and waste in any process, from manufacturing to transactional and from product to service is a well-proven combination world wide.   Simply said, reducing the defects you have in your product or service, the happier the customers! The less waste in your production, the lower the costs!  Customer loyalty increases when services and products completely satisfy their needs at the best price!  It is a win-win for everyone!

Organizations that are geographically dispersed, or are made up of many acquisitions, find greater alignment and comradery when Lean Six Sigma has been institutionalized.  Lean Six Sigma becomes a common foundation for discussions and teaches common tools for accomplishing common corporate goals to accomplish the vision.

A Lean Six Sigma simulation will be included through the five days, so participants will experience how to apply the phases of Six Sigma and principles of Lean hand-on.  Participants will each receive a pocket-size paperback version of “The Six Sigma Memory Jogger II”, and a binder of information that will become a great reference tool for future implementation.
